Getting Involved with TCWA

There are several good ways to get involved with TCWA.  More information about each option can be found at the links to the left.

Membership:   We welcome you as a new TCWA member.  There are several categories for individuals, families, organizations, municipalities, and businesses.  As of June, local merchants and cultural organizations are offering discounts and coupons to all members, and donations for monthly prize drawings.

Meetings:   Feel free to join us at our meetings and events.  Meetings are held at the Franklin Township Municipal Sanitary Authority located at 3001 Meadowbrook Road, Murrysville, PA 15668, map, on the last Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm.

Programs:   We offer an assortment of programs geared to audiences of all ages and interests.  Learn about TCWA history and projects, abandoned mine drainage issues, and how stormwater impacts all of us.  We would also be happy to design a water-related program especially for your group.

Volunteering:   If you are looking for an outlet for your talents - but a small time commitment, TCWA could use help with office tasks, publicity, website, and more.

Water Monitoring:  You and some friends can volunteer to be a water monitoring team, checking stream conditions at defined sites each month.  The EASI Program offers training to use field testing kits and the kits themselves to each team.

Donations:   TCWA gladly accepts monitary or in-kind service and material donations towards operations or specific projects.
